Probably my most favorite fruit of any is PEACHES...........summer brings these wonderful juicy balls of goodness and I look forward to them all winter.........for the past several years a local farmers co op gets a truck load of Georgia Peaches that you can pre order...........and they do not disappoint ............of course I jsut love to slice them up for breakfast every morning with my coffee.........but I think today I will bake something from this Peach Truck cookbook.........I will let you know how and what I do bake.....

Thought I would share this new hair brain idea...........I bought this stencil collection from Leaca Young a while back and thought instead of the usual way of using a stencil on paper I would try to use on fabric and then embroider the image....so as you can see I transfered the image onto muslin with a Frixion pen........then colored with Copic markers .........on most of the hats I added felt and used some ribbon to the band or used beads to give it a little extra along with the addition of the heart necklaces trying to make each one a little different....on this last photo you can tell see with the copic markers I first try out the colors to see if I like the combinations..........who knows were this will lead but it may become a wall hanging quilt.....it's just been fun seeing how many different ways to dress her up....
Hope you all survived the 4th...........have a great weekend......we have had a little relief on the heat with some rain and cooler temps.....it was needed for sure!

For years now when I have done any punch needle I have always used the Ultra punch........and I still do but several months back I ran across the Smart Punch because it is easier on your wrist, hand and fingers if you have any kind of arthritis etc.......and to tell you the truth the result of the punch looks exactly the same it's just easier to hold so you aren't in any discomfort....I ordered mine from Notforgotten Farm.........
Anyway I have totally forgotten to tell you all about this and I would highly recommend it to those of you who have issues.........good luck and let me know if you get one and if you can tell the difference it makes....
have a great week...........
