Do you remember charm bracelets? Back in the 60's and 70"s every girl had one and they were really popular........any time you would go on vacation or any special event or place you visited they always had these to sell........my best friend in high school gave me my first charm " Happy Birthday " with the date and her name on the back of the charm but I wore it so much it wore off.......that is what started this crammed packed silver bracelet.......... I still love it today....I don't wear it as much as I use to but I pulled it out the other day after Glitter Retreat because Annette Tyler was wearing hers and it reminded me to get it out and wear it this summer.....so here it is!
And I only have this box full of more to get soldered on..........I doubt they will all fit!
Anyway thanks Annette for reminding me to wear it....if you have one do what I did and get it out and wear it..........so much fun!
Did you have a charm bracelet? If so I would love to know.....
Happy Tuesday.............
I love your bracelet! I’ll think of you when I wear mine.❤️

I had a jammed-packed charm bracelet, and found I never wore it. So I transferred all the charms to a 30" necklace chain that I find I do wear quite often. I get many compliments on it & it is quite a conversation starter!

I also have a charm bracelet. I loved putting special charms on it. I wore it, I think every day. I need to pull it out. I lost my grandfather wedding ring off of it, so became paranoid about wearing this piece of jewelry I love. My story of my beloved bracelet.
I often see them at the antique stores with the heads on them and think of my mother's bracelet. I have the charm bracelet she had in High School. It's a treasure.
Fun to hear about the different bracelet's.

I should dig mine out and add some fun findings. Mine isn’t limited to the traditional charms. So happy to hear that some are wearing them. Thanks for sharing.

I started one when I lived in Germany (Windmill, gondola, merry-go-round, beer stein, wine glass, Eiffel Tower and more icons - I can't remember!)

Oh yes, I had one and it was crammed with charms just like yours. I lost it along with a bag of some other precious jewelry I had. I get sad every time I think about it. But, before I lost it and when our son was born Mike bought me a new one with a little boy’s head with our son’s name and birth date on it. I didn’t want to junk it up, so I have left it with just that one charm on it. I wanted to add my dad’s wedding band and a couple of other charms, but it and some others were in the bag I lost. 😢

In junior high and high school, I belonged to Ticktockers National Charity League, Pacific Coast Chapter.....Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, etc. and we earned gold charms for our charm bracelets by doing community work. I lost my charm bracelet sometime during college at Southern Nazarene Univ, and I am just so extremely sad that I no longer have it, but since then my husband gifted me a new bracelet, and every time we take a trip or there is a special event, he buys me a charm! I am running out of room as well! It is one of my most treasured things I own!
