woodie update........

The woodie has been at the Glass garage for about 3 months now and this afternoon we received these photos of the glass........every window had to be replaced!  But it really looks good so far....next will be the body and then paint........keeping our fingers crossed that we will be driving her in May or June........I don't know if I have told you the color but we are thinking a creamy white.........we think it will show off the wood ............the red will be going but not sure about the wheels and tires.....we will see after it is painted!!!!!

 

Hope you all have a safe and warm weekend........yesterday it was in the 70's and today the low was 24 and 37 now!!!!! oh well at least we aren't in the deep snow/freeze like the north and north west....I'll take  this any day over snow and ice!!!!! OH HAPPY FRIDAY..............

little books of wisdom.....

came across these 3 little friendship/saying books this morning at 4:30 (could not sleep) while I was looking for something( still haven't found what I was looking for).....anyway just wanted to share these with you..........this was one of the last classes I taught at the Paper Crown OKc before moving to Waco......a fun little book with all kinds of sayings........and something you can keep adding to when you find a favorite saying/scripture/joke or whatever.......I love looking back ...here are a few  I thought I would share with you that have always been favorites of mine....

weekend stitching........

After Glitter Market in November my supply of these jewelry pouches sold out so I thought it would be a good time to use some of the new Cathe Holden junk journal fabric and some of her other collections as well.........these are so fun to make and anything goes......you can add any type of scrap fabric , stitches, buttons, velvet, felt.....anything goes!

below are some of the pin cushion/scissor holders from last week... some of them are finished and others just need a little stuffing!

They are al different..............

flowers/pie

Leftover flowers from Valentine's Day dinner............. love these different colored carnations...the top photos is from the class in Scottsdale that Terri Brush taught........I love using mine as a flower vase........

 

I know this pie has shown up several times on the blog here ........here it is once more..... had some apples that I thought would be good to eat but they are to soft for my liking so hopefully they made a better pie.................I will let you know!

just in time for heart day..........a little slow stitching pin cushion/scissor holder..........these are so much fun to make and who doesn't like a new place for your pins and scissors........they are not quite finished but hopefully today I can get them all stitched together and stuff them tonight while resting and watching TV........at least that is my goal for today!!!!
