Look at this little "cutie pie" with one of my Quilted Coats on...........my dear friend Sandra bought this at the Paper Crown Waco Glitter Market for her darling Grandaughter......I love it when someone sends photos! Thank You Sandra for these....I hope she loves wearing it!

For those of you who have signed up for this Class at the Artifactory in Norman on Dec. 6 here are a few things you will need to bring below:
Colored pencils.......my choice of pencils are prismacolor but any pencils will work
small scissors
craft mat ( the one I use is listed below) this is large enough that if you and a friend want to share you can always cut in half......any craft mat will work as long a it is heat tolerant and non stick
heat gun ( listed below is the one I prefer but any will work) I prefer a short nozzle
1/8 inch hole punch
I will have a few extra mats it you don't have one and plenty of pencils...I only have one heat gun but you are more than welcome to use it...sometimes if you come with a friend you can share with your supplies
Everything else will be included in your kit! We will see you all on Dec. 6 at 6:00-9:00.......should be fun............. we have a FULL classroom!

Day 3 was our final day and we were all excited for the most talented Polly Jones to teach her painting magic with all of us....not only was she our teacher but Susan and my roommate for the week.......we could of not asked for a more perfect house mate.....we knew as soon as she stepped in the door we would love having her! I have a crazy story about Polly.....several years ago for my birthday Cindy had given me the sweetest painting and I love it but did not know at the time the artist........well when Cindy told me who the 3rd teacher for Glitter Retreat was a light bulb went off.......I turned around right then and looked at that painting she gave me and low and behold it was one of Polly Jones.......who knew......below is a photo of my painting from Cindy.....
Anyway we all instantly knew that we were going to love Polly and our Santa Mug project .........she is so patient, kind and a wonderful teacher..........thank you Polly
And of course another little detail of Miss Cindy's as we were all leaving these wonderful Santa Mug cookies.....Cindy does not miss a thing........every little detail is her specialty......
I don''t have to tell you how much this gal goes above and beyond........we have worked together since the beginning and you know how special she makes these events we all get to enjoy.....the work that goes into events like these don't just happen....a lot of planning, orderng, lists, cooking, etc. I could go on and on.....but I just personally want to say THANK YOU Cindy for all you do for this artful community to get us all together to create, make forever friends, talk, laugh, eat and just enjoy being around other artful minded people........it is always a positive atmosphere and everyone feels it..........hopefully this will be the new tradition at the Paper Crown Waco each fall.......we all hope so......(and like I have always said she is the BEST Boss I have ever had....) Well we were all excited to come in on Day 2 for Jenn's 12 days of Christmas sampler class......what can I say about Jenn.......one of the most talented gals I know and the sweetest....she is always so patient whether teaching stitching or painting her famous dolls....we all love Jenn and so excited when she first came to the Paper Crown in OKC years ago......who would of thought at that time that she would follow Cindy to Waco........I can say it was a match from the very beginning and so glad she excepted to teach back then..... thanks Jenn for a truly fun class....can't wait to finish.......
I feel so honored to be teaching with these gals ...............

These gals all did an amazing job and created their own version of the Santa project......I loved everyone of them and most of them finished.........here are just a few that I snapped a photo of..
Are these not amazing..........Thank You girls for jumping in working and stitching all day .......... hopefully you enjoyed the process.....I loved watching you create and add all of the sweet details to make this white Santa into something special......
And a big special Thank You to my dear friend Susan........without her help I would not of been able to do both Glitter Market and Retreat........she is always willing to drop everything to tag along with me and my crazy things that I do...........a true friend indeed that will take off work for a week......we have so much fun together and she knows how I like things and she just does it........you are a Dandy girl........
Thanks once again for all of you who attended .........you all are so talented and I appreciated how you just stitched and talked and really did not need me after you got started......amazing!
Well the first Paper Crown Waco Glitter Market and Retreat has come and sadly over.........but we can all say it was the best ever and hopefully all went home with special memories of all the creating, food, ( delicious as always with Cindys awesome cooking) special moments, laughter, gifts, giveaways , meeting up with old and new friends, shopping, decorations, having our own coffee shop in the same building, over all just a great time........when someone like Cindy plans events like this you know it is going to be something special the entire time......hopefully you all feel the same as I did ........ Thank You Cindy for always making every detail special and spoiling us with your generosity and love...........
I will share some photos the next couple days....... like always we get all wrapped up with what we are doing that we forget to take them ....by now with social media several people have already posted photos........but here are just a few I have...........
Glitter Market..........I really have just a few.....usually I try to get a photo of each vendor and their goods but i absolutely forgot..........we had some of the best vendors and the crowd was steady all day long......for those of you who attended thank you.........

Been busy packing up Glitter Market and Retreat ..........I forgot how to do this since we haven't had one in so long.........plus trying to figure out how to condense things down to transport since we don't have the luxury of just coming home to grab what is needed.........oh well it will be so much fun to be back together with old and some new friends......see you all next weekend......this week will fly by so I don't know how much I will be blogging.........we will see.
