it's official.......

I have been keeping this under hat for quite sometime but I can now let it out.....both of the dealerships have sold and we are out of the car business......a group from Texas bought both dealerships and the name will change............ Tom Peters will be hanging up his hat after 50 years in the car business and 43 years with  Reynolds Ford .........he has been a loyal, dedicated, honest, selfless employee and the time has finally come and we are so thrilled.........he may drive me crazy at home but we will make the adjustments and live a great retirement together enjoying all the future holds for us old folks........

it's friday ya'll..........

It has certainly been a crazy week here in Oklahoma......the weather has been crazy cold with sleet, snow, wind and just downright freezing!  I am so ready for warmer weather and hopefully this week we will see some warmer temperatures...

And while this weather has been cold I have gotten a lot done for my two classes  coming up with Terri Brush in Newton Kansas the week of March 4-12......It really takes a lot of time to prepare for these types of classes and  I don't know how some of these teachers do this all the time..... wow..... Oh well it should be fun and looking forward to new faces and a great time at the WHATEVER HOUSE..........it's always a fun place to be!!!!

I don't want to spoil some of the surprises for the girls( in case any are reading this blog). I will wait until after the retreat to show some of the photos..... this is why  haven't posted to many photos lately of what I have been up to.............

hopefully a better week...........

Last week was a tough week....we had 2 dear friends pass away from COVID! We are so so saddened by this horrific loss and 2 funerals in one week is not anything anyone wants experience.

 

On a more positive note though the week ended with a wedding shower I helped hostess for some dear friends on Sunday afternoon......

 

The photo above is chocolate bombs you can either use in coffee or hot milk to make hot chocolate..... when the chocolate bomb melts these little mini marshmallows appear..... My great niece made these and some unbelievable cookies.....

Look at how detailed these are.........you just give her the colors and ideas and she runs with it....you can see the colors used were blue and white.....she is amazing

 

The blue cookie design is taken off of the art work from the shower  invitation....she is amazing.......

Since I was in charge of all the sweets I did make a couple kinds of cookies and some white chocolate mouse in these little cups with mini gold spoons....we celebrated this sweet couple and wish them many many years of marriage .....

busy busy busy.....

Several years ago before the Paper Crown OKC closed the doors I taught this class on these Easter Bunny Girls......I came across the patterns the other day and thought  would make a few ...they are so much fun to add all the little shrink bunnies, easter eggs, banners, lace, buttons and whatever else I could find for the added whimsy......

 

If you could see my room right now with stacks of boxes and kits for my two upcoming classes in Newton Kansas for one of  Terri Brush retreats.....it looks like an Oklahoma tornado has passed through........finally today I had to just stop and reorganize because I couldn't find some things that I knew was in here and it was driving me crazy....anyway just thought I would let you in on a little Spring fun with these little cuties....

I have been wanting to experiment with the gold and silver shrink .....below are a few things......stamped some, did a bauble or two and cut out some circles for earrings.....gives the shrink a whole different look......
