A little Punch Needle and the new pattern from our talented friend Jenn Mcglonn (aka Noodle and Lou)......don't you just love it! I did give her blonde hair...this is going to a special friend ....
Hope you are enjoying this fine last Sunday of the month.......it is absolutely beautiful here in Oklahoma.....you wouldn't believe it's January with 64 degrees and no wind today......and by wednesday and thursday it is calling for SNOW..............REALLY!!!!!
Ever since I got the Kamut Bread cookbook I have always wanted to try their Homemade Pretzels but just kept putting it off until today......now I am bummed that I haven"t made them sooner because let me tell you they are so so stinking good.....
so this was lunch today.........
I let the second batch in a little to long but they still taste awesome......
If you like to bake bread you will love making these....it's really not that hard to do it just has several steps just like bread does but so worth it....

Those of you who know me know that I am a big coffee drinker.....I LOVE COFFEE.....so I treated myself at Christmas with a new Nespresso machine.....its all my nieces fault because every time I would be in her home she used her machine, so of course Aunt Jack ( as she calls me) had to have one! If you like strong black coffee this is the machine for you...I have tried several of the different pods and I like the Starbucks over the Nespresso pods....just me ...... in my Keurig I always prefer the Starbucks dark french roast over any other....I am a no flavor no sugar and no cream for me....but once in a while I do like a cappuccino .........any hoo just thought I would share this in case any of you are like me and LOVE COFFEE!!!

For Christmas I gave my mom and sister this paper doll puzzle and told them I wanted it back after they had put it together......it is so darn cute.....after they finished my mom glued it all together and now I will mount it to hang.......
My mom said it was one of the hardest puzzles she has ever put together and let me tell you she has finished a lot of puzzles.......I remember growing up that we had a game table in our living room and there was always a puzzle on it.....my Dad was also a big time lover of puzzles.......I did not get the gene.......anyway I just wanted to share this darling puzzle and one day hopefully will hang in my studio/workroom/classroom!

My Christmas wreath has turned into a wintery/valentine wreath......even though it is really dried out (if you look close)..... I just could not bare to take it down so I added some wooden red hearts and hopefully it will endure another month of this cold cold weather........

English Paper Piecing.....another stitching project to do in the evenings....the only problem is after you remove the paper it needs the iron ........so that is when the mini iron and wool pad is handy.....
And its never to early to start those Easter projects.......haven't quite finished these up.........

I forgot how much fun and addicting shrink plastic is........I can sit for hours and hours ( and I have) coloring and cutting out these little shapes....love love shrink plastic!

We had the best time this weekend with these two kids.......it was a fast weekend but we will take whatever we can......we ate, laughed, visited family, went to church, cooked, played a lot of cards and just hung out! And we loved every minute......
