Well much to my surprise I opened this sweet box today that came in the mail and look what was inside.........these gorgeous sweet velvet mushrooms from the talented artist Julie Collings.......oh my word, I wish you could see them in real life because this photo doesn't quite show how beautiful and delicate they really are......what a sweet gift from one talented artist. Thank You so much Julie I absolutely love them and will find a special place for them........I Love mail packages like this!!!!!
I met Julie in April at the Whatever House during one of Terri Brush's retreats........she is the queen of dyeing velvet to make it look worn , old and the most gorgeous colors........let's just say she has mastered this technique ............ she will be sharing her talents in Waco at the Paper Crown this coming fall. The minute I met Julie I knew she would be someone I would like to be around and learn all that she is willing to share with others..........she is amazing and the girls taking her class at the Paper Crown are in for a treat!!!! When the first class sold out within 24 hours she agreed to do another one, that tells you what kind of a person she is!!!! So what I am saying is if you ever have a chance to take one of her classes .......sign up!
