I love to drop by your page for some inspiration..and I always find it here. Quilts always remind me of my grandmother. She was a quilter, and many of her quilts included pieces of my grandfathers worn out jeans. The had a big loom in her bedroom that could be raised to the ceiling when not in use. Those are such good memories.

What an awesome idea to make a clutch out of a quilt. It gives me the idea of making these for our granddaughters out of old quilts that I have that my grandmother made. She died when I was a baby and I never had the opportunity to know her, but Iโ€™m thankful to have something made by her hands, even though they are really in bad shape - so I donโ€™t mind cutting them up and doing something creative with them.

Iโ€™m thinking I know all the coolest art girls ever! And how blessed I am to have this amazing circle of friends to lean on, interact with and learn from. One day soon I hope we can get together again and create and laugh and maybe eat some cake ๐Ÿ˜˜โค๏ธ

This morning I am thinking of doing some re-organizing in my craft closet and using up some odds and ins. I have decorated for Christmas as I decided it is my favorite time of year so thought why not!!! Have a great day, Jackie. You are so talented!!

I have basset hounds on my mind and the mess one particular puppy is making but she sure is cute! And Pumpkin pie. Iโ€™d like a slice of ice cold pumpkin pie smothered in fresh whipped cream! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I had a lot of dental work this morning, so that was all consuming. But they gave me dark sunglasses and an iPod to listen to music on-I made a selection of soothing music. Mid-way, it stopped because the app froze and when they restarted it, it was on a different playlist. It ended up being a playlist from the 70โ€™s, which was the era I grew up in and spent some of my teen years in. So, it has brought me to think of my childhood today and my Father who has been gone for way too long and too early-he passed away in 1996. What would he think of the world now, of me now? So, a melancholy day, but at the same time, joyous-loving my memories of freer times in the arms of a Father filled with love and hope.
