fun evening with friends...........

And look who showed up.........Miss Nan is finally back in Oklahoma City and stitching away once again, and we are so glad she is back!!!!!!! ( we sure missed Miss Beth and hope she is up and around feeling better soon)

They all went away with at least one completed bracelet and some even started a second one.......So much fun to be back not actually teaching but just showing them how to start these fun, free, organic looking bracelets!  No right way or wrong way just stitching , talking and a lot of laughing going on!  Thank You so much girls for coming and making this a fun evening around my table!!!!! Until next time enjoy wearing your bracelets, and remember the more you wear them the better they look!

Tuesday night Frayed Bracelet Class girls.......

I am getting excited for my first class of 2019........for all who have signed up for the "Frayed Bracelets" all you need for supplies is a pair of scissors and a few different sizes of sewing needles.....everything and more is included in your class kit.  See you all Tuesday evening.   I will have kits available if anyone is interested plus I may have a few bracelets to sell later . Hopefully these will become heart lapel pins.........they are so fun to make and kinda frayed looking....guess I am in a frayed and heart kind of mode right now!

Check out this new dog fabric.......I am excited to do SOMETHING , don't know what but I will let you know!!!!  Comes in cats too........

Several years ago I made these fabric beads and some I had already decorated with bling but pulled them out the other day and finished them up.  They are really fun and easy to make. When finished you can use them in multiple ways..........I am taking a survey if anyone is interested in maybe a class on fabric beads please leave me a comment and let me know......I am just trying to get some class ideas going and don't want to do the same thing over and over and this is one I have never taught but have made them so........Or if any of you have suggestions I am always up to listening to what you all are interested in......thanks for stopping by today

So I am working on several projects and hopefully I will have some good news soon for a new Punch Needle Pattern........I have really been experimenting with different kinds of threads and yarns ..........So when I have the new patterns available I may be able to suggest to you some choices ........then you can decide what you like to use and the look you are wanting.....so many options out there that its fun and crazy all at the same time!!!!!

first class of 2019....FRAYED bracelet.........

When I wear my frayed bracelet I always get asked about it.......the longer you wear these the more frayed and wonderful they look.......if you like that look!  So I decided why not teach a fun class and you don't even have to know how to sew.....it's as easy as sewing on a button, literally that is what we will be doing.   Basic hand stitch on bits and pieces of fabric, velvet, ribbon, shrink art, buttons sequins, jewelry  , just about anything you want to add.  The more you add the better it looks.  Below are a few I have started but not finished.....I just keep adding.  So if you are looking for a fun relaxed evening join me and some others so we can make these frayed fabric bracelet to adorn your wrist, or someone else's.......the date is Tuesday night February 26 from 6:00-9:00......if you are interested please email me at jpeter@cox.net and I will give you details .......seats are limited so first come!!!!!!

So when French General posted this new "Road to California" sampler I knew I needed one, but I ordered 3!!!!!!!  Since I was born and raised in California and every year my two traveling buddies head to the west coast with me I figured we all 3 needed one.........so I have triple duty on these.   One friend wanted the bright colors as I have used in this first one, the other one wants all neutrals ..........we will see the difference when they are completed and then I will choose what color combinations I want to do mine in...........I love the design and am excited to see how they all turn out.......so is it night time yet??????
