Well I guess as they say That's a wrap for 2018.........what a fun group of gals and hopefully they went away with a fun project they can continue to add to over the Holidays........the room was hopefully cozy enough for them! Trying to make a little space warm and comfortable is a little hard to do but they all just were glad to get back together for class........thanks to my helper Susan......she always is willing to help me out in my crazy artsy life! The last pictures we are missing Becky but she had to leave a little early.......and thank you Susan Parnell for coming all the way from Dallas to join us Okie's...
This isn't a permanent space but if it doesn't rent out it will be the "Girdie Classroom" for now!
Thank You again all who signed up for the class and for always inspiring me to keep on teaching. You all are so special to me and I appreciate your friendships and encouraging words.
Wishing you all a great weekend and Thanksgiving Blessings............xojackie

I received a text from a friend last night to tell me the DMC floss was on sale at Joann's Fabric..........although it's not like the sale they have in the spring it's still better than the original price......regular price is 56 a skein, it's on sale for 40 cents a skein........so if you are into embroidery or PUNCH NEEDLE it's worth going and stocking up on the colors you use.
Happy thursday...........

It's amazing when you find a tub full of odds and ends ........like lace, old fabric, handkerchiefs, pieces of linens, fur and tapestry! Trying to make something out of STUFF! A challenge that I love to do once in a while. I have had these sweet faces on my computer and decided to copy them off onto muslin and make some pillows!
Happy Monday..............
