88 years old.........

Over the weekend we celebrated my moms 88th birthday...........my niece and brother are in town and decided to celebrate at my sisters house.......just like the energizer bunny she just keeps on going........infact she leaves this week for Washington DC to tour the Bible Museum with a group from a local church and about 80 something  people. I know it will be a fun trip for her and she has never been to Washington DC..........then she will be headed to Kentucky with a friend in September...........she does keep going and we are thankful she does!

Hopefully you all had a great weekend.......so on we go to another monday and  a little cooler round here........have a great day and week!

I'm still here.............

I have been a little busy lately with several new things coming on the blog and other new news.....so hopefully in the next week or two I will be able to share why my time has been consumed by other things.....

sweet gift........

I have some talented, generous and sweet friends for sure........Look at how sweet and darling this handmade, hand stitched piece of art is..........My friend and talented artist Scarlett gave this to me for my birthday........the work is perfect and the coloring is just right to hang in my workroom......I am trying to talk her into making some to sell......she made Nan one for her birthday of a cow and if you want to visit Nan's instagram go to honstuff and you can see another one of her creations!

hApPY tHurSday July 5th

Well we are cracking up because my friend Susan was trying to take some serious photos of the two of us and of course we couldn't help from laughing............I will tell you all about why she was taking photos at a later date!

And then yesterday trying to get these 3 to take a good photo........my sister Barb ( yaya to Grey) Grey and Mom........we only had 8 for dinner but always a fun day to celebrate our Freedom!  I hope you all enjoyed the day and activities of the Holiday.

I am always out of tags for gifts so today I finished up on these........I do love the Tim Holtz paper dolls and use them often.

 

Well I hope this finds you creating something fun today.............never stop creating!

slow down summer..........

Finished this last night and let's just say I don't think I will do it again  this size......if this is one of the patterns I will be selling I am going to reduce it.  The background takes forever and like I said you have to keep adjusting the hoop and squash the yarn while you are going around the flower.......... my goal this week and next is to get these patterns all complete and ready to print so hang tight to those of you who have asked me about them.
