a little fall decorating.......

I don't really have a lot of Fall decorations but with a few little sprigs of dried flowers from the yard and those that I have dried from weddings and showers I can add a little here and there and it's just fine.

And years ago at the Edmond farmer's market I bought a bunch of these old dried up gourds from a vendor..........I have used them for the past 8-10 years and still love the look.....I drag them out every fall and enjoy the soft muted colors.

And this Pumpkin canvas I bought one year on vacation.........Many of you know I was raised in Central California in San Luis Obispo......a few miles from SLO is a town called Morro Bay and they have the most unique store called the Garden Gallery..........if you are ever close to Morro Bay go visit this wonderful shop...unique and I always seem to find something fun.....

On my dining table I used this old crate and added a few gourds until the real pumpkins are out.......I added these old metal rusty leave and some more dried seeded Eucalyptus , I even cut some hydrangeas this morning that are a little sorry looking but they work great with this kind of decorating........

I'm not really finished but it will do for now until I buy a few real pumpkins.........So that is about all I do for my fall decorating........ Since I don't have any small children around I really don't have Halloween stuff anymore....Just fall, so I won't have to change it to often for Thanksgiving and Halloween so close together, just call me lazy!!!!

And hopefully Miss Girdie will get a makeover tomorrow............

We will see all you marbling girls tonight.......can't wait!!!!!

I love your Fall displays and the fact that you left the gourds in their natural state. I have a few and I have been debating on scrubbing and polishing them but now I think I will leave them as is.
I bought them years ago at a pumpkin patch and thery have gotten more character with age.
Also love the painting. I need to get my fall boxes out and get busy.
