pinon..............

For Christmas Adam and Tom received these little tee-pee incense burners with pinon incense sticks..............let's just say it brings back so many memories of going to Santa Fe for 20 years in a row and smelling that wonderful aroma in the air!!!! Nothing like it!  When I saw these I knew the guys would love them, me too! This smell is something like no other! We burn wood in our Chimenah outside but in the winter its nice to bring the smell indoors. I was a little hesitant it would be to strong but it really is mild...... I am sure any place who sells incense would have pinon........try it and bring that wonderful smell into your home..............I bought these of all places Madewell women store, not your typical store to find such a thing.

paper doll lovers question...............

I need a little feed back about some classes coming up.

 

1. do you like the paper dolls connected to something like pinwheels, cone etc?
2. do you like your paper dolls attached to tags?
3. do you like your paper dolls just free so you can do whatever with it?

If you have ever taken one of my paper dolls classes or want to in the future I would really like to know, or if you have any ideas I would like to hear from you!  I am really trying to get the Valentines classes settled but just thought I would ask!  Thanks

2016 documented faith...........

Documented Faith Binders are in our hands.......I hope those of you who  pre-ordered yours  have arrived in your mail and ready to start!  Getting organized and ready to start the new year  will help us all journal 2016!  I started to add a few little doodles last night and I hope to keep up!  I know Stephanie is so excited to finally have these out there and giving us all a way to document our daily lives!  Thanks Stephanie for you talent and hard work to keep us all on track!

I did get the months to the headlines but working on some color and etc...........hopefully while sitting and waiting at the hospital I will have plenty of time..........to fill in,write and doodle......

I had an extra one so thought I would give it away!  I only wish I had one for each of you who left your 2016 comments! I am really behind on my classes.  I usually don't share personal things on my blog but we have had a family member in ICU since last tuesday and I have been at the hospital pretty much continually.  Check back from time to time and hopefully we will have better news, but this is my main concern now! Thanks for understanding!

why did I make this.............?

This past summer I was given a box of postage stamps.  I wasn't sure what I would do with them until the uppercase magazine had an article of using your stamps to add on pages of magazines with people and exchanging their heads for the stamps........hope you understood that but let me just show you on these pages below.

We were in South Carolina this summer and I grabbed one of their town magazines with important people.  The pages were perfect for this kind of art and just goofing off.

So why did I make this, I don't really know.... it was just fun to mix up all the faces and add to the bodies...........kinda weird, not the usual, but just a fun thing to do on a hot summer day!  I can always add to this whimsical book if I decide to try out any other kind of different art work!
