Today was one of those days I wanted to do something a little different.......I had a bunch of wood pieces leftover from another project and got out my package of Tim Holtz photo booth photos along with some paper doll pieces and went to work.......was fun to just create something with not to much in mind.........just create! If you can see the one doll with the black circle around her head...that is a curtain ring that I wrapped with washi tape and the used some Mica Tile over her face!
Hope you all are enjoying your week........have a great thursday evening!

Well I hope you all enjoyed your long holiday weekend.........I managed to get a few more of these made to set back for the fall.....I sold a bunch at Glittered Retreat and needed to replenish....
And to let you all know Cindy has received another shipment of these beautiful velvets so stop by to pick up a few new colors and before they sell out once again.........
There is 3 spots left in the Big Idea Class on thursday evening June 4. Call the store to sign up 405-848-2389.......should be a fun and relaxed class........we will be painting a canvas for the front cover and all sorts of mixed papers and medium for the inside.........a great book to store all those Ideas you have been collecting all in one album, plus the binder rings are big enough that you will be able to add your ideas as they come.........if you need to stop by the store to look I also have the book I made several years ago with all of my ideas I have collected..... just to give you an idea of what yours will look like once you start!
I am starting to get my July classes together and one of them may be the Artifacts and Relics with Sandra Evertsons products! We will see.........just a little tease!
I think that is it on a dry tuesday...........the rain has stopped for a while and we are loving the sunshine once again.........the streets are dry but the lakes and waterways are overflowing all over the US right now.......I think our drought is over here in Oklahoma.......hope so!

This is my dear friend Debbie. Many of you know her and we have been friends for years. Our sons are best friends too. Debbie has a beautiful voice and has been with the Oklahoma Cantebury Choral group for probably over 20 something years and also sings with OKC Windsong. Tonight she will be singing in Carnegie Hall! How many of us can say that! Anyway they were invited to sing with the Distinguished Concert International Orchestra! She has been in New York City since thursday practicing and having a once in a lifetime experience ... You go girl....and good luck!

By looking at this you are probably thinking what is up with those little wiggly things......every spring our 4 big pecan trees in the front yard drop these .......it's a mess and until they finish falling off it looks like its raining worms..........We have been blessed with days and days of rain and although we aren't complaining it has become really serious with flooding problems all over the state.......and I think it will continue over this holiday weekend......so if you are out and about be careful and safe!
and with all the rain I am back at it again..........I went back to the store to pick up a few more of Sandra Evertsons Relics and Artifacts!
So hard to get good color on photos when the weather is cloudy outside! The velvet is much prettier in person than in these photos!
the velvet in the above photo is really black......
That's it for my friday..........
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday weekend........Happy Memorial Day!

I have been working on a couple of baby albums......I will share after they have been given to the parents! One is for a set of twin girls and the other is of Mac's little sister! Do you remember several years ago when I made one for this little guy..
he now has a little sister...............
I do enjoy making memory books and especially baby books. At one time I thought I wanted to do nothing but Baby Heritage Albums.......but if you know me I can't just stick with one thing!
Happy tuesday........

For me to unwind and relax in the evening I love to doodle.......my husband thinks I am crazy.......another reason I keep my hands moving while watching tv is I won't fall asleep.....once I lay my pen down I am out........so this is a great way to stay awake and get in a little creative relaxing time! I have found a new pen I like to use for thin black lines and to outline, it is the black uni-ball signo in the ultra micro 207.......it does not bleed and Office Depot carries them! I LOVE them!
What about you.....how do you like to relax and unwind in the evening?
Have a great weekend.............. I will be back with more next week!
