Miss Girdie received a makeover this week in the new Character Construction " Adventures in Tea" by Catherine Moore! Every year around the first of the year Catherine always creates a new line of stamps and with those I like to dress Miss Girdie in the latest! If you can tell I made giant tea cups with giant tea bags (with real tea leaves) to hang from the ceiling.........If your needing a little CC stop by the store and pick up the latest stamps..............
We had a great group of gals last night who got a jump start with the new stamps and made these cute Valentine tags.

And it was great to have Cathy back in class.........I knoq this gal loves to create because yesterday she moved back from North Carolina and the moving trucks moved her in yesterday and she showed up for class last night.....now that is my kind of girl! For those of you who couldn't make it your class kits are at the store for you to pick up! And as a bonus tag they all went home with another one to make and I forgot to take a photo........Maybe Cindy will take one or when I go back to the store I will shoot a photo and let you see!

and for the recipe I promised you from the Pioneer Woman:
Cow Patties
20 oz. melting chocolate, I used the Homeland brand Best Choice chocolate almond bark( that is what she used)
1 cup raisins, dried cranberries or dried cherries ( in the chocolate I used raisins in the white chocolate I used cranberries)
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup planters cocktail peanuts
melt the chocolate over double broiler..... take off heat and pour over your bowl of raisins, almonds and peanuts and mix together until well coated.......drop by spoonful onto wax paper and let set at room temperature......
(the white chocolate I used the Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers)
I usually do not use the almond bark but for some reason it works really well in this recipe.........it is so smooth and creamy...I would of never guessed it would taste so good) my husband told me not to make these anymore because he could eat the WHOLE batch...........
enjoy another Ree Drummond " Pioneer WOman" recipe, you won't be sorry or disappointed , I promise!!!!!
Remember all you PC girls.... tonight is the work night on whatever project you want........hope to see you all tonight!
Have a super weekend!
