Happy Father's Day...........Wishing all those who are celebrating today with their Father's a wonderful and fun filled day with lots of memories! Whether you are with them or not we all hold fond memories!
This is the last photo I have with my Dad on my 40th birthday 21 years ago! A BIG surprise when I walked into Kathy's cupboard Restauant and my family from California had flewn in to surprise me! Now that was a 40th birthday memory!
Since this is my birthday month I wanted to have a little something to giveaway!
All of you know what Oklahoma has been through the last month with the devastating tornado that destroyed many towns around the metro area........ I thought it to be appropriate to give away one of my Home Sweet Home pillows with a patriotic theme, plus I bought some Oklahoma HOME t-shirts with the proceeds to benefit those in need! I happen to have an extra one and thought it would be a wonderful way to share with one of you..........so just leave me a comment about how you will be spending your independence day.......you will have until Sunday June 23 and I will announce the winner on Monday morning June 24!
These two items the t-shirt and pillow go together........so I will only have 1 winner! Thank You all for always being so kind to leave your sweet comments! I love hearing from you..........happy weekend and good luck!
These little gals are wishing you all a Happy Birthday who have a June birthday...........
We will be spending our 4th @ the lake. We have lots of family come, spend the day on the water, have a cook out and wait for dark so Dean & the kids can awe us with their amazing fireworks show!

Beautiful giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win!
I am hoping I don't have to work on the 4th... I work in a grocery store, so of course, we are open. I forgot to request it off since I'm just barely back to work after a 6 month leave of absence. Too late now to request the day off, but it is also my anniversary date! We usually have a BBQ and make homemade ice cream!

Jackie, you must have hit the wrong numbers on the key board. I guess you meant to push 12 not 21. You look awesome! Love all your stuff. Jeri

Jackie, you are always so generous!
I'm not sure yet what we will do for Independence Day. Maybe cook some hotdogs and hamburgs on the grill, go see some fireworks, just hang out. Whatever! I'm sure it will be a wonderful day no matter what we do. :)

Jackie: your little pillows are darling. I would love to own one. For the past 12 years we have spent the 4th at our lake house. We always have homemade ice cream and decorate with lots of bunting. There is a golf cart parade, with prizes for the best decor. Brenda & I competed against each other several years, then decided to pool our resources (and stop the competition) so we bought a small trailer that we could pull behind one of our carts and we could decorate it to the hilt and it would hold all of the grandkids! My favorite one was Peace Love and IceCream..but I think we just got 3rd place. The kids were so cute in their red white and blue!

It's so sad to miss our sweet Daddy's isn't it???
I would love to enter your give away. I'm going out to visit my friend Vickie & see the 4th of July Parade in Huntington Beach, CA. She say's it is one of the biggest in the USA. In fact she bought seats in the bleachers. Can you believe the need? I sure have never seen anything like that. But, if I win I want to take that little treasure to her. And I'll be back in our favorite area... San Luis Obispo. Wish you could join me.
HUGS!

Every year our little town has the best fireworks show at the park just down from our house. We ride our bikes over, layout a quilt, eat corn dogs with lemonade and enjoy the show.

Not sure what we will be doing for the 4th this year, but if we aren't partying or at a fireworks show we always watch the Boston Pops on TV - love the patriotic music and fireworks show at the end.
BTW - Hope you are feeling better.

The 4th has always been one of my favorite holidays. I don't really enjoy the cracking of fireworks but I love to Ooooh and Aaaah at the bursts of color in the sky.
I'll be laying on the golf course at the Carthage Memorial Park. Its so beautiful. Feels like you can reach up and touch each explosion.
Have a safe holiday. Happy B'day.

BTW, some residents at our nursing home made bookmarks for the kids in Moore.

Hi Jackie! :D
My boys will be at camp during Independence Day so Alexis and I will be celebrating with our church. Then when that's over we come home and float in our pool and watch the fireworks they pop on 23rd street. It's so fun and relaxing, we look forward to it every year.
