I know we all have been really busy with getting  ready for Glitter Market but I always have classes in the back of my mind.........so I am working on some of my upcoming classes for summer!  I thought my samples would be ready before GM but I am running a little behind so please hang tight........these sweet faces will probably show up!

Artist from Oklahoma, Texas and Canada. these gals all made these ordinary shoes  look incredibly beautiful..........they ruffled coffee filters, added trim, ribbon, silk roses ( I dipped them in plaster of paris) rhinestones, old paper leaves, wings and a photo of their choice in a sweet little ornate white frame, and whatever else they could add they

did.........each one was incredible original and oh so pretty.

Keeping with the theme of tonight's class I decided to make shoe sugar cookies for the treats. And for the first time instead of name tags I made each girl this dress cookie with their names.  The sweet  tags I tied on to each cookie are from Michaels and then I had to do a little extra  " Happy Mother's Day shrink!

I have an abundance of tags and cards for mother's day, birthdays, weddings, teachers,friends and will offer those to you at the upcoming Paper Crown Glitter Market Event May 4!  I seem to have come down to the end of creating and this is all I have left in me.............I may not be posting any more of my goods before......I hope you all are saving the date  Saturday May 4 to support these talented artist........we have artists coming from here in Oklahoma, Texas and all the way from Canada.  Cindy and I will hopefully be posting about the artists when we get into the final week.

shop small local..................

You know sometimes we take our small local stores for granted!  Really we do.  We don't realize how important they are to us and the economy in our local towns.  We all take advantage of the big stores and the internet but we need to keep these small ones going....... All I am saying is PLEASE take full advantage to buy from these stores.  They are one of a kind and not to many of them are around any more............!  Look at these two gals in the photo, they came all the way from California and Georgia last year!  We love locals and out of towners...........

dress stamp-shoe class........

So many of you have asked about where this cute dress stamp came from........well here is the website! If you are ever in St. Louis Missouri you need to stop by this wonderful store.  Red Lead Paper......You will love all it has to offer.  If you do go tell Chris and Sharon hi from me. 

For those of you taking this class April 25 you will need to provide your own shoe and a photo that measures 2 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches.  It will be easier if the shoe is NOT patent leather, or suede.  Most other materials will work. For this class you will need your basic kit, your favorite distressed ink pad and of course your GLUE GUN!  See you girls on the 25!  If you have any other questions about this class or any class call the store 405-848-2389!
