This past weekend at the Paper Crown we were honored to host one of the most talented " little French Canadian" artist, Colette Copeland! We had so much fun from the time we picked her up at the airport on thursday evening until the end of her last class on saturday late afternoon. These photos will show the wonderful time we all experienced!
Colette came to teach 4 different classes and she also set up a couple of tables with her wonderful art to sale.........I think we wiped her out. She did not have much to take back but promised to come back in the fall and join us for Glitter Market!
Robin's sweet daughter Ally joined us for the morning class........she is a doll! Colette & Ally talked back and forth in French. Ally just got back from France on a school exchange program. Thanks Ally for stopping by and joining us older women for lunch!
Beth I am so sorry but I did not get a photo of you and your house. We gave you such a bad time, and not to get a photo of your sewing skills...........
The photos above were the morning class. We then had a break and returned for the afternnon class, Birdies on paper..............
Cindy even got to join us for the afternoon class.
Saturday classes were the same except the bird class in the afternoon was fabric......
These girls were having entirely to much fun..........but what a way to end a perfectly wonderful weekend with a very talented artist! Thank You Colette for the fun memories and sharing your talent with us OKIES........come back soon!

I got back a couple of hours ago after a few days with my sister in Dallas, and I just want to say that I LOVED EVERY SECOND that I spent with you all!
You "Okies" are the best, no, the VERY best, and I can't wait to see you again in November. I'll be posting on my blog tomorrow.

Looks like so much fun! My son graduated Fri. and we had a celebration Sat. or you can bet I would have been there! Colette looks like a doll. Can't wait to see what she brings in the fall.
