This is not the best picture but believe me they are to die for.............here is the recipe!
French Donut Holes
1 1/2 cups flour plus 2 tbls. flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup melted butter
Combine the first 5 ingredients. Add milk, egg and butter. Mix thoroughly. Grease and flour small muffin tins. Fill 1/2 full and bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan and immediately dip in the melted butter and vanilla. Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla paste
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
You may need to melt a little more butter to dip them in and the sugar cinnamon mixture. It just depends on how much of the sugar mixture you want..........these are so delicious and you can serve them either warm or cold. It is the flavor of fresh doughnuts without the work! Enjoy!
