Last weekend after I had worked on Mac's scrapbook, and before I put away all my scrapbooking stuff I decided I would pull out my She Had 3 Hearts online class book.  I had put it away before I started my organizing my room/studio.  I didn't finished the cover and only had maybe 8 pages started and by no means were any of them completely finished. Here are a few pictures of some bits and pieces and the cover that I finished today!  Finally...........

I also decided to number each page.........

It now will sit on top of  my other Journals that are works in progress.  I will pull it out again soon and do a few more pages, but for now I am putting away all this scrapbooking stuff and starting something new..........hmmmmmm what shall I make?

what's going on today...................

These are the topic of today.................Salted Caramel Cupcakes!  Are you just drooling?  Well they are to die for.  I stumbled across a recipe online a while back and thought they looked delicious.  So guess what..............I made them and so glad I did.  So girls who are in my next class at the Paper Crown, this will be the treat for the evening. 

A few weeks ago when our son was down he brought us some of the best Granola.  I am not a big fan of real sugary granola and I think that is why this is so good.  I love to put it on my yogurt/fruit in the morning.  If you are every in Golden Colorado or if you live there you need to saddle up and head to the Windy Saddle Cafe.............you can buy this delicious STUFF.

 

I guess that is all I had for today............

First if you missed Mix and Mingle you missed out on some fun and these homemade Kit Kat bars that the Baker of all Bakers Jill made!  Avery came to help out!

And since Cindy is on vacation Miss Bride to be Cheri filled in for the evening.  Thanks Cheri and thank  you all who stopped in.  Lisa even came all the way from Tulsa for the evening.  Like I said I did not take very many pictures and I apologize.  But you can see by these we had a great turn out.

Remember last year when I made this scrapbook for baby Mac's mom.............well I did a little addition to the book.............4 months old through 6 month and no room for his 1 year pictures.  I guess I'll have to start a new one.

Monday Morning Hello

If you read my post from saturday you know I hit the jack pot at the estate sale I went to.  I forgot to show you my big time score..............look at this office stamp stand.  Just like the one Tim Holtz has on his desk for all his ink stamps!  I only paid $ 2.00 for the stand and stamps!  Booya..........!

 

The weekend went by super fast but another week is here and hopefully it will be full of creativeness!

saturday morning estate sale...........

 

Well you can see that I hit it big time this morning!  My friend Beth called me yesterday to tell me about  her family estate sale this weekend. Her mother in law had this gift shop for many many years and had all sorts of stuff and more stuff!  And the prices were incredible.  75-90% off. ( If you live in OKC this estate sale is at the old Etta's Cottage on NW 23 west of MacArthur.)  

I grabbed up this beautiful velvet photo album.  It was in great shape plus I loved the title  "Our Friends"!  

You never know, some of  these treasures will probably show up on my table at our " Glitter Market" in the fall.............

3 new classes................

How about a large Party Martini Candy/Nut glass. We will be decoupaging the outside and the bottom of this 10' glass, adding fun party themed papers and tissue. The cute tag has a pink VW bug to tie on to add that little whimsy.

I even hate to say this but Halloween will be here before you know it.  So I guess in September I will have these next two Halloween classes so you will be ready to decorate.
