"Do Something Creative Everyday" Clip board  Thursday February 17 5:30-9:00

 

This class is going to be all about basic and fun techniques.   

I will show you how to:

emboss

shrink

glimmer mist

use mica tile

rub ons

Tim Holtz fragments

basic stamping with ink pad and paint

glitter

gold leaf

All of these basic techniques go into this cute little clip board.  So if you have ever wanted to learn some of these basics this class is for you. We will also be using some of the new Cavallini papers. ( you will love them)

 

Mystery Class  February 24 5:30-9:00  I will have more details later this week.............. 

 

China Doll Easter Egg        Thursday- March 24    5:30-9:00

 

She has Bunny Ears spool - Thursday April 7 5:30-9:00  We will make 2 spools that will be Easter themed.  I will have pictures of the other one later.

Another Silver Bella Project

This was our group project for Welcome Night.  I did not finish that evening, so today I pulled it out and this is how it turned out.

To say the least I had GLITTER everywhere!  The mat board frame is totally glittered!

Paper Doll weekend

 
I did a little playing around today with my new Character Construction stamp from her She Shells Sea line!  I did a lot of funky hair/hats on them......I still have a little more to do with them but thought I would share these so far.   It has been a while since I've made any paper dolls and I was way over do.

this is the class project the girls made...............they all did a fabulous job and each one was so different.  Look at these proud gals and what they made!

A dozen different skirts all made with beautiful fans.  Thanks again girls for making my job so much fun.

just in at the Paper Crown and............what's for dinner?

New merchandise at the Paper Crown............I see a Spring Class schedule in the works!  Next week maybe.

 

I remember growing up and having Tuna Casserole for dinner.  I loved it back then and I love it even more now! I don't make it very often but when I do I love the left overs the next day.  Just a few ingredients plus you have to make homemade croutons to go on top ( it's the best part)

cut up a few slices of whatever kind of bread you h ave on hand- toast them in the oven until they are a little firm but not crisp. Melt some butter and add a few herbs:

add these herbs to a big zip lock baggie and then add the toasted croutons and pour the melted butter on top of the mixture and close the bag and shake..........

Add the croutons on top of the tuna mixture, bake and that is what's up for dinner!

I don't know about you, but I love getting little packages and letters in the mail from other countries, especially those from other Artists!  I recently received this sweet letter from Lillalotta from France. Just reading her beautiful handwriting is a piece of art.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I received this little package from the sweetest little Canadian Artist..........the talented

Colette Copeland.  I love her simple, delicate pieces of hand sewn art.  I bought several pieces from her in November at Silver Bella, and she just sent me the sweetest little heart to go with all the others that I bought.  Here are a few pictures of her wonderful work, and so Colette.
