How
What to do with all the little bits and pieces of trim and ribbon that we all have? If your like me I waste a lot of bits and pieces of ribbon or trim that I cut. So a while back I started keeping all those little pieces. I have a jar by my work table and anytime I am getting ready for a class or project I keep this jar close by to collect these little bits.
How to make these tags:
Draw a pencil line on your tag. Then with your sewing machine feed the little bits and pieces on the lines and follow with your machine. Then I decided to paint these. I just used acrylic paint. Let it dry. Run a little glue on top of the tree line and then sprinkled some glitter on top. And then added a little shrink and ribbon.
For those of you who have followed my blog these are the tags I made last year for Valentine's Day. I did not paint these. For these Christmas Trees I just wanted to add a little different look and wanted them to look a little snowy with the paint and icey with the glitter.
You can really do any shape as long as it is real simple.
Give it a try and have fun!
How cool !!! Once more another reason never to throw any thing alway. Just goes to show that a use can be found for anything. anywhere. any time.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Jackie,
I just love them. First I have to learn to sew a straight line on my machine. Your talent just amazes me!
Hugs,
