This morning on Jenny Doh's blog she posted about Mason Jars! What is it about the sweet old fashion vessels we all love? I don't have many, but I do have a few and the ones I do have are all pale turquoise. Well she ( Jenny Doh) has come up with the most adorable Mason Jar and label stamps! They are going to be so much fun! Just thought you might like to know that on this bright sunny thursday morning!

NO more glitter and glue..........Cindy just got in this amazing glitter paper. You will absolutely love it! You can put away the glue and messy glitter and use this paper on all your projects. It comes in the most beautiful colors: turquoise, light pink, hot pink, green, gold, silver, orange, blue, lavender, red, black, navy and I am sure I left out a few.
So many more new goodies: 7 gypsies, making memories, K and Company, Tattered Angels....... stop by the Paper Crown next week and stock up on all the new merchandise Cindy has been getting in.
We are working on our upcoming fall classes. Hopefully by the first week in August we will have an email go out and I will post it on my blog with pictures of each class. Can you believe I am even talking fall. It will be here before we know it and I am certainly not ready.
And all the new fall Glimmer Mist fall colors........You will love the subtle brown tones. I had a couple of pictures to show but my computer is not cooperating so I won't show you.....I love the Tattered Leather color the best. Rich brown with a hint of cocoa, all I can say is GO GET YOU SOME.
Remember the Paper Crown is open on Mondays 10:00-5:00.

Some of you commented on the last post about how and what I use to transfer a picture onto fabric. Here it is. So easy and fun. All you have to do is run this fabric in your printer and that's all. You can get this at Joann's Fabric. I'm sure you can get it other places . Good luck and have fun creating your own little pillow or whatever. ( it comes in two colors cream or white)

I have been experimenting a little with smaller frames and techniques! Like my mini canvas frames turned over I thought I would try it a bit larger. This canvas measures 8x10. The first thing I did was decoupage script tissue paper all over, then I added the cheese cloth randomly with decoupage to adhere to the tissue paper. After it dried I then added a little paint here and there. The picture is a notecard I got at TJMAXX! I sanded the picture it a little and rubbed a little gold leaf. Added some pop dots on the back and adhered it to another piece of ledger paper from 1922, and a little gold leaf.
I might add a little beeswax and I haven't decided if I like the rose in the middle of the gray velvet ribbon or to the side. I haven't glued it down yet so I may change that. Other than a few little changes I think I am finished. Another one is on my table half finished so I hope to finish it up in the next couple of days and I will share a picture or two when I am completed.
Have a wonderful Sunday.......
We are headed to Sunday Brunch today for my Mom's 80th birthday......... Happy Birthday Mom!
