Okay everyone, I know I said I would not be doing alot of blogging because I had a shower coming up, well I still do but I wanted to share something with you. This is my set of Ken and Barbie dolls that I got way back in the 60's. They are still in pretty good condition except for Ken's hair and Barbie's lips and hair. But I wanted you to see the clothes and how detailed and well made they are. Some of the accessories are missing but for the most I feel lucky to have most of the outfits.
All bundled up ready for the Olympics.......he has black ski pants on with boots and mittens. The only thing missing on Barbie is her pants, so I decided not to show the bottom part of this picture. Do you get the picture.........
Miss Betty Crocker or should I say Julia! She even had baking utensils and oven mitts.
Tennis anyone?
Check out the tennis shoes. I am missing their tennis rackets.
Tuxedo without his bow tie. Check the shirt with the buttons and the pin tucks. Cumberbun? (spell)
Each pair of pants, shirts and coat has the label inside.
All dressed up!
This is a little ragged so I must have played air line stewardess alot. She did have a hat but..........
Those tiny sandals and shoes!
Well I hope you have enjoyed looking through my Ken and Barbie suitcases. I know many of you had as much fun as I did growing up playing with dolls. I spent many hours playing, making clothes and houses for them. I did not show you all of the clothes because it would of taken forever, but I just wanted to share a few pictures with you.
I would love for you to leave a comment and tell me about your growing up with Barbie!
Have a great weekend everyone!
