Happy weekend before Easter.......

Well she did it once again....Miss Noodle & Lou helped us all fall for another one of her creations....Little Miss April is so sweet and springy with her basket full of Easter eggs, I slipped in a couple carrots......

Sorry it's been a bit since I have posted but I have been busy............

a few more things I will be selling at Glitter Market.......

In Oklahoma you know it's spring when the Red Buds start to bloom...........they are the most vibrant pink and I always love to cut some branches and bring them in to enjoy!  If you cut them when they are just blooming they will last longer........

good grief it's March...........

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but I have been trying hard to get things ready to sell and teach at the upcoming Waco Paper Crown Glitter Market and retreat in April......everyday I think I am so close to getting what I need finished  finished but then I think of something else so it's been a whirl of projects around here......and then we look up and it's the middle of March already.........oh well I will get it all done and what I don't that's okay too......hope you have had a great day!

mini girl embroidery scissor keepers........

 

Several years ago I made a bunch of these mini's and through the years added them on different things ........I used them all up so I decided to stitch up some more.....  I forgot how fun these were to stitch up.....does not take much fabric to make the dress and your imagination to add the arms, legs, face and hair.........on these I wanted to make some scissor keepers and here is what I came up with......wouldn't it be fun to make a little mini stitch book with all these little girls..............hmmmmmmmmm maybe that is in the works!  We will see!!!!

have a great day and week......here in Oklahoma this week we are going to have 60-70 degree weather........everyone is happy and in spring fever mode......in fact my 94 year old mother just came over to get a shovel to work in her flower beds.......can't keep up with her!!!!

Well it looks like I finished up Miss February and still deciding on Miss Cozy retreats blanket?????????  It will hit me and when it does I will take a photo but for now I need to put these up and continue to work on Retreat and Glitter Market!!!!!

 

Stay warm the next few days people.........it will be in the single digits around here and some snow............you know where I will be stitching in my chair and staying warm!!!!! Have a great week..............

it's a snowy sewy day today...........

I don't know how many of these photos will be cut in half ( if you click on the photo it will show the entire photo )........ this is what I am up to on these cold wintery days and nights....plenty of hand stitching and getting ready to teach and vend in April at the Paper Crown Spring Glitter Market and Spring Retreat..........I am working on these mini mini quilted purses and a few needle books and always pin cushions.....in between all of these Jenn has come up with another one of her darling large Girls titled Cozy Retreat plus her monthly BOM February girl which I have not started......if your like me and do not like winter stitching is the best thing to keep you busy........

january is almost over...........

January is almost over and I have not done a very good job about getting on this blog to post anything..........well I think with everything that's going on around the world this blog is pretty boring ......even though I have stitched a lot on these cold winter days and nights I really haven't had anything earth shattering to show..........but good days are ahead....

this little embroidery book I started a while back has been fun to add little bits and pieces.......

I have more but i will sign off for now.........

2025 so far........

Finished my Calendar Girl forJanuary.......if you did not sign up for this fun BOM i am so sorry........these are so much fun!!! Maybe next year if Jenn does this again do not hesitate....SIGN UP!

Next is something kind of fun from Sew Mary Happy......she had this tutorial on her IG last week and I thought why not.....it's all about using your scrap fabric, and we all have plenty of that.....

making these fun little zipper bags for whatever use you want......embroidery, stitch, machine stitch, zipper how to, and just a great little project......I have several started to stitch at night!

 

Other than trying to keep warm around here this is what I have been up to since the ring of the new year...hope you all are staying creative and warm!!!!
