I have an abundance of tags and cards for mother's day, birthdays, weddings, teachers,friends and will offer those to you at the upcoming Paper Crown Glitter Market Event May 4!  I seem to have come down to the end of creating and this is all I have left in me.............I may not be posting any more of my goods before......I hope you all are saving the date  Saturday May 4 to support these talented artist........we have artists coming from here in Oklahoma, Texas and all the way from Canada.  Cindy and I will hopefully be posting about the artists when we get into the final week.

You know sometimes we take our small local stores for granted!  Really we do.  We don't realize how important they are to us and the economy in our local towns.  We all take advantage of the big stores and the internet but we need to keep these small ones going....... All I am saying is PLEASE take full advantage to buy from these stores.  They are one of a kind and not to many of them are around any more............!  Look at these two gals in the photo, they came all the way from California and Georgia last year!  We love locals and out of towners...........

dress stamp-shoe class........

So many of you have asked about where this cute dress stamp came from........well here is the website! If you are ever in St. Louis Missouri you need to stop by this wonderful store.  Red Lead Paper......You will love all it has to offer.  If you do go tell Chris and Sharon hi from me. 

For those of you taking this class April 25 you will need to provide your own shoe and a photo that measures 2 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches.  It will be easier if the shoe is NOT patent leather, or suede.  Most other materials will work. For this class you will need your basic kit, your favorite distressed ink pad and of course your GLUE GUN!  See you girls on the 25!  If you have any other questions about this class or any class call the store 405-848-2389!

Well girls this was really fun to read all of the comments about wearing dresses!  I can remember my mom making our dresses growing up........how things have changed!  I love wearing dresses as many of you know and I search all year round for comfortable yet stylish dresses.  They get harder to find all the time but when I do find one that I like and they come in different colors I usually end up buying one in every color.  I'm weird about that......

fabric coat hangers...............

I have always wanted to make some of these fabric covered coat hangers.......I can just see them hanging in a laundry room or little girls room with or without something hanging from them....I just kinda started pulling out fabric, ribbon, trim and a few photos I transfered onto muslin and this is what I came up with.

So there you have it for this rainy, cold, icy, ugly day here in Oklahoma.........yesterday was beautiful and today, well lets just say it is NASTY!   

pretty in pink.........

The vase holding these beautiful pink branches is an old home battery holder.....correct me if I'm wrong but I think they used these for batteries used in the home for swamp coolers........I have only seen them in magazines but never thought I would find one!  And the color has turned to turquoise, how appropriate for my home!  So I decided to cut a few branches and enjoy both the pink and the vase.....love it when  something you think will never come your way shows up at our local Antique Mall!

If you read this blog often you have seen this dress stamp used many times........... I have one to giveaway with this matchbox.......leave me a comment about if you are a dress girl or pant kinda girl!  We had this discussion in class last night............I am definitely a dress girl......I always have been and remember growing up how I loved wearing dresses more than pants, or skirt and blouses.......anyway you have until wednesday April 10 and I will announce the winner on thursday April 11!
