this shot is so funny...........it takes 3 men, or should I say Dads to put a table cloth on straight! Ha Ha!
So much went on the wedding day......we all got up and started in! The reception tent needed to be decorated and transformed into the sweetest looking fall scene! And thanks to Caryn's mom Donna it did! She is amazing! You can see in this photo the tent poles were covered in burlap and fall garland!
For the centerpieces it was wood disc ( Adam cut these)! Simple floral arrangments in mason jars! And by each placesetting was a sweet bottle tied with the guest name !
Do you think the Groom is taking it easy while the bride was out on a 6 mile run and the decorations were going up! And this is how it should be! The bridal party had a game they all played and I am not sure of the name , but it had two platforms with a hole in the middle and bean bags of some kind they would toss.........it was the main attraction out side between the lodge and the reception tent!
Most of the time it was the girls against the guys or should I say husband and wife against each other! It was really entertaining and I think the females WON! How fun to watch and something everyone could participate in!
The cakes and Pumpkin Pie, Adam's favorite!
The tent was so sweet and totally what the kids had invisioned! Outdoor, woodsy, fallish and just sweet!
Caryn's colors were beautiful. She used rich deep fall colors! This was her bouquet! Several months back I found this website with the most awesome personalized wedding gifts! And this is really unbelievable. Lisa Leonard who makes these wonderful gifts lives in my hometown in California , San Luis Obispo and Adam was born in San Luis Obispo. I was so excited to have her make this silver medallion to add the date and their names to go on the bridal bouquet!
I'm kind of skipping around but I have so many photos I keep going back and deleting and adding!
Have you noticed in the background the snow on the mountains! It could not of been a more perfect setting!
Can you see the tears rolling down her cheek...............with their palms turned up! A very significant part of the vows!
Now I introduce to you Mr.and Mrs. Thomas Adam Peters...............
Well you will have to come back for the final wedding weekend part 3 tomorrow!
