Sometimes I go a little overboard when I get new stamps.......especially when it comes to Character Construction! As you can see I have altered the body.......I had some playing cards with flowers in the middle, and since the theme of the stamps are the Timekeeper's Garden I figured they would be the perfect fit. The cards have the name of each flower!
If you are wondering about the little bits of glitter I used my stickles........and went a little dot crazy.
Well as you can see I had a fun weekend in my little room!
Usually when I am making paper dolls I use colored pencils all the way .......as you can see in these the colors are vibrant. I decided to use Copic markers, except for the flesh color. This is just a personal preference and I had a great time just experimenting with color!
Hope you had as much fun as I did this weekend........CREATING!
Now a new week has started and the first class of the new year.........I need to put away all of my paper doll fun and get to kitting up the kits for the Calendar Class.........!
Happy Monday!

Wow! Ich bin begeistert...
Traumhaft schön die neuen Stempel und herrlich coloriert.
Herzlichst Sophie

I am loving what you are doing Jackie (and Barbara), and loving my Copics too. It's exciting to see which images you choose to play with first, and how you embellish and color. Love the vibrant warm colors on a cold January day. And, I am so glad that you are not steering clear of the Steampunk ladies. I thought it was important that the ladies be seen too. Why does steampunk have to be all about the men! I am dreaming of Valentine's . . .
