time flies..........

This week we celebrated my mom's 82nd birthday.........Grey is  helping her blow out the ONE candle and not 82..........it's been so hot here I decided instead of the typical birthday cake I  made Homemade Blackberrie Sorbet.........it was really really good. You can even see the remains of a little sorbet around Grey's mouth in the photos below..........

She just had to ride Uncle Tom's peddle car........she's a mess!

I had a fun day today creating with some of my creative friends......we all made Olympic/USA red white and blue tags............

I forgot to take a photo of the tags I made but left them with my friend whos birthday we celebrated today creating, eating lunch, had cake and cupcakes and just spent the day laughing and having a wonderful time indoors with the temps outside being 106...........

This is Kay ( the Patriotic birthday girl) and this is her work room #1......the room upstairs from this room is where we worked..........TO DIE FOR!  Everyone should have a room just like this one!  I told her I wanted to move in!!!!  She said I could but I don't think I could add my STUFF to her STUFF!  Anyway we had fun.......two of the girls that usually join this group were on vacation. We certainly missed Marsha and Ginnie!  We had fun anyway!  Thanks Kay for being the hostess with the mostess!  Your the best!

this is the upstairs room again where we actually worked....it is so comfortable and the view is beautiful.....I could live in this space and never leave the house.......

Anyway that is how I have spent a portion of my week so far......and the time just flies!  Hope you have had an enjoyable week wherever and whatever you have been up to......

 

Remember Monday evening July 23 6:00-8:00 at the Paper Crown.......Our only Mix and Mingle of the Summer!  Come out and bring a friend.  We will be showing our country patriotism by making an Olympic themed make and take, 20% off your entire purchase and always refreshments!  Hope to see you all. 

And after eating these I need to walk an extra two miles tomorrow..........we shared!  I didn't eat all these..............!

JaCkIe...wow, this post was packed with wonderfulness...word??? anyway, your mom looks like she's having lots of fun with cute little grey, happy birthday! and, what fun at kay's house, loving her art space! and, i'm planning on mixing & mingle-ing, too...whew, that's alot!
