As a teacher/instructor sometimes it just does not flow..........I don't know if it's this summer weather or just can't get with the program! So I need your help.........I want to ask you a few questions as a teacher, and as students what you like! So here I go.
What do you like in a class you sign up for?
a. learning new techniques?
b. the finished project?
c. just to get away from the family for an evening?
d. meeting up with a friend for the evening?
e. do you feel you get the most for you $
f. if you have ever taken a class from me at the Paper Crown is there something you would like me to repeat or do different?
I need some feedback from you all to see what you would like for me to teach. As many of you know I am not real good about repeat classes. I like to move onto something new and different. SOmetimes products are out of stock and it is hard to make again.
I hope this will help me. I was hoping to get some samples ready for fall classes but it has been hard and I am not sure when I will have dates and samples...........hopefully this will kick me into gear and get with it!
Happy Wednesday!

I love to take your classes for all of the above reasons. The fellowship, the fabulous desserts you make and having something pretty to take home when I'm finished. I agree with all the other girls...I love the mixed media classes but I would love for you to teach a little jewelry class. Maybe a charm bracelet with shrinky dinks and miscellaneous found object charms??? If I could I would take every class you offer. Have a great day Jackie and I will see you tonight for the mystery class :-)

ditto from me, too, JaCkIe...i do like the mixed media classes, they're "my thing". new techniques are always fun and i think that just getting togeher for a fun artful evening with women who share the same passion is about the best thing ever!!! you make the classes a "party", that's what's fun for me...! don't know if that helped you any, but, just keep doing what you do, i LoVe it all!

I'm echoing Deb's comment. I love the journals, the canvases, but mostly I love the mixed media classes like the Easter egg, the 4th of July firecracker, the Halloween spool we made last year... I'd even take those classes again - they would be different enough with new papers and embellishments.
But whatever you do Jackie, I love it! If I didn't, I wouldn't drive all the way from Tulsa to take your classes. ;)

I think I sign up for all of the above. I love learning new techniques and the Jackie way for doing things! I have all of my journals and projects--I treasure them. Yes, I do like to get out of the house and I do miss all of my Paper Crown friends when I haven't seen them in awhile! I feel I get a good "bang for my buck". I learn, I get to laugh and visit with like-minded creative people, we get a discount on purchases that evening!
I think we all get these creative blocks--at least I do, Jackie. That's another reason I love your classes. It seems to clear away the fog and I feel creative and refreshed again!
