I have been away for a few days! Every June I head to Dallas for Market! We always have a great time but it is hard work, if you can believe it! We walk and walk and walk and walk more, and we try to order merchandise that we think might sell.........its always a gamble no matter what, the new trends, what's in what's out.........and this year in several places it was all about VINTAGE! New sections of the market were geared towards old, rusty, lacey and worn out! (like me)
I am home now and I need to get down to making these little cuties! Before I left I cut out 25 pair of these sweet little baby booties. They are made out of felted wool..... I only got a few pair finished before I left......... I am going a little different direction this time and adding different little pieces of lace and ribbons. I will still have the cute ones with the flowers, hearts and polka dots like the photos below from before....
I hope this finds you having a wonderful summer weekend.......
Remember you have until tomorrow evening to leave me a comment on the birthday giveaway!

I love your booties!!!! Am bringing home some vintage lace from the brocante & some that we woad dyed, so am anxious to share with you for these little darlings. Will be looking forward to seeing you when we're home next week. Au revoir!

I am so jealous, I would love to experience going to market at least once. I have always heard that it is lots of work, but learning about the latest trends is definitely worth it! Old and beat up is what's in right now? My philosophy is, the more dings and bangs in it, the better...that's what gives it character. :)
Your little booties are way cute! They would be perfect at glitter market this winter! :)

Those booties are so cute Jackie!
What are you shopping for at Market? I always think I would love to go to Market - whether for clothes, house decorating items, fabric, crafting stuff, whatever!! I think it would be like a candy store for grownups and I'm sure I would be totally overwhelmed.
