It would not be President's Day without a cherry pie! At least around here in February I always like to bake at least one cherry pie in february..............don't know why I just do!
Make your double crust favorite recipe add a large can of cherry pie filling, bake and you have this wonderful flakey pie..........if you know me I love any kind of fruit pie! Whether it be fresh fruit or canned fruit in the middle of winter, I LOVE them all...except strawberries! I do NOT LIKE them! But I will eat any other kind of berries!

Made a cherry pie yesterday. Did not tell husband the filling was from a can. I thought he was going straight to heaven! He went on and on about how GOOD the filling was.
I did not have time to make my crust from scratch,so I used a pre made crust. He thought it was so good.I just kept on eating, WHAT HAPPENS IN MY KITCHEN, STAYS IN MY KITCHEN.Wondering, now why I spend so much time doing scratch cooking???
