You all know by now how much I love paper dolls...........and the Queen of Paper Dolls made the trip all the way from Peachtree City Georgia to the Paper Crown this week!
these are some photos of our class on thursday evening........
they are all working so quietly..........ha ha.......we all know better!
Catherine and traveling buddy Lana coloring those sweet paper dolls.........
Those are the finished paper dolls.........I am sorry I did not get Lana and Catherine's finished dolls....it was quite a night and I thought I had taken plenty of photos .......did not take any of Catherine and Cindy, and I am so sorry............Cindy left the next morning for Texas but Catherine and Lana said they will come back!
We had a full class with just a couple of the girls missing..........and Beth left for the Thunder game!
A fun night we will all remember.................
Lana and Catherine having a little fun with Girdie!
Friday Morning I picked up Catherine and Lana at the store and we took off for an Oklahoma City tour! First stop was Starbucks! Lana made sure she toured Oklahoma City with a cup of Starbucks in hand! We headed downtown to the Oklahoma City Memorial.........they both were in awe of the sight! We left the memorial bombing sight and headed to bricktown to show off our Canal, Cheseapeake Arena, Mickey Mantle stadium, our new scissor tail expressway, and a few other sights before heading to Classen Curve to have lunch with My Heart's Fancy favorite teacher Lisa Bruno! And since we were so close to the Republic for lunch we had to stop by our new Anthropologie.
After having a wonderful lunch and meeting up with Lisa we headed to Edmond to show Catherine and Lana My Heart's Fancy and meeting some of the Edmond girls!
Catherine, Lisa, Maura ( owner of My Heart's Fancy) and Lana!
Catherine standing in front of the wall stocked full of Character Construction stamps! They don't last long so stop by the Paper Crown soon!
Well what more can I say! We all had a wonderful time with these two! I just want to say a BIG Thank You to Catherine and Lana for making this one class I ( and all the girls in class) will always remember!
We sure hope you come back to Oklahoma and stay a little longer!
Saying Good Bye to Girdie.................good bye Catherine and come back soon!

What an adventure! It was a bit surreal to find myself in the land of life size paper dolls. Standing there next to the fabulous Girdie who is dressed for Spring tea parties replete with teapot hat, a robin's egg blue frock, and black and white apron bejeweled in tea flowers and butterflies! And of course she has her own butterfly net and is ready for a day in the meadow gathering new specimens.
I enjoyed the most delightful tea party / paper doll social ever. Jackie you are not only talented, but a perfect hostess and teacher. You were on your feet all evening tending to all your guests and making certain that not only did everyone have a good time but that they left with a completed project.
And oh my what a lovely group of ladies. And I mean lovely in every way. Pretty, welcoming and just as nice as could be. It was such a pleasure to meet you all. I hope to be back again soon, and hopefully Cindy will be able to join us on an outing next time!
Merci beaucoup, Grazia Mille, Danke, a million thanks for your hospitality Jackie and Cindy!
