A little hidden secret.................do you ever stumble across a favorite little spot to eat and it's kinda quiet and out of the way and the food is to die for.................Well let me tell you about this hidden treasure. If you live in Oklahoma City you have got to stop by Travel By Taste! If you are like me and love salads this is the best in this area! It's the kind of place that you eat there once and you will be hooked and you will crave this delicious salad. They are located on MacArthur Blvd. and NW 50th. in Warr Acres. If you want to order what I always get it is called a Blackened Chicken Salad with Balsamic Vinegar Dressing! I promise you will not be disappointed. I am not a big feta cheese lover so I tell them to hold the cheese, Jill gets hers without the cucumbers and Susan gets it loaded up and even asks for red onion on hers. I can't tell you about anything else they serve because the salad is all I ever get. You can even get it to go like I did today............if you do go I would love to know!
We have a few openings left for this basic Valentine board class on Thursday evening Feb. 9 from 5:30-9:00........if you want to learn some old techniques and combine them all together to make this sweet Valentine board this class is for you! I will teach you how to use Tim Holtz fragments, Mica Tile, Gold Leaf, stamping with ink pads and how to stamp with paint, shrink plastic and some glimmer misting. Those of you who have signed up for this class you will need to bring your basic class kit and a glue gun. If you have the Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen you will also need to bring that. The class looks fabulous!!! So sorry I'm not closer to jump right over to join you girls. Hubby was up in OKC today but, made a mad dash back home this afternoon. Yes, everyone is having such wonderful weather this winter compared to last... I even planted the cyclamens like you showed in your last post... OUTSIDE & they are happy as you please.
