Don't you just love it when you experiment with different kinds of things and it works...........A while back I had posted on how to mix vinegar and salt to metal and it turns rusted and even patina looking green/turquoise. It worked the first time around so I decided to try it again to turn these chandelier leaves from shiny silver to rust. And they turned out really rusty.
And these little tart pans and a few other little metal pieces. It is so easy, and it stinks but the end results are worth the smell.
Here is the formula that I shared once before but if you forgot here it is:
I think I told you that I just poured my liquid in a rubber maid bowl and let them sit for several hours and then took them out to dry on paper towel.
It's kind of a gamble and surprise the way each kind of metal turns out. So if you have a few shiny pieces of metal you want to turn try this little experiment.
hope you are having a great week........

I love that look. I cannot seem to get the same results as you do. I'm doing something wrong but going to keep trying. Jackie, if you ever have time could you post once again where to buy the fabric sheets for the computer in order to print images on fabric. I just love that look and cannot seem to find a store that is selling it. I just love your work and you are sooo talented. Hope to see you at Glitter Market. Yupiee!!!!!!
