I love fresh flowers and today feels like spring in Oklahoma............love it! The windows are open , I even turned off the heater and have the fans going. Can I tell you again I love it!
Have you ever had Cookie Dough Truffles? The girls in class tomorrow night will have the chance to taste these little bits of goodness! I got the recipe from Paula Deen's last saturday show.
They are in the refrigerator firming up and then they will be dipped in chocolate! I will let you know on friday how the girls liked them.
And I also made these. I won't fill them until right before I head to class but they will have raspberry filling in them. I will post the recipes on friday for those of you that would like to indulge in these wonderful goodies. I know we just had Valentine's Day, but when you have a bunch of gals to teach they get cranky if they don't have some kind of sugary treat! (not really cranky)
This is what the recipe looks like. The recipe calls for strawberries, I am going for fresh raspberries instead!
I also wanted you all to know that I use my scoops all the time. As you can tell by the pictures that I used them for both of these recipes. I have several different sizes and I would not be able to bake or cook with out them. What about you.....what is your favorite utensil in the kitchen?
I guess that sums up my day. I hope you all are enjoying this awesome springy weather like we are! I will definitely have pictures of the finished baked goodies on friday and the recipes!
Go outside and enjoy this Happy Wednesday!

Jackie,
The treats look fantastic and wish I could have the entire tray! You are a very talented pastry chef. Favorite tool is a round device w/holes that I use for draining poached eggs. Don't you just love poached eggs! Lots of hugs,

Haha! We're thinking along the same lines.
Last week snow, this week warm and balmy. And I featured chocolate on my blog.

oh JaCkIe,
regretfully, i am not taking your class tomorrow nite, but you can bet i'll hang around for one of your yummy treats and visit with you guys for a while! my most favorite item in my kitchen...? why, of course, my take~out menus...!!!

They both sound delicious! I can't wait for the recipes. I too love scoops, but don't have but two sizes. I'll have to pick your brain as where to get more sizes!!! My favorite kitchen tool is my old Pampered Chef chopper. It is the PERFECT onion chopper, and I hate chopping onions.
What a wonderful day, both in OKC and Atlanta! I hope the beautiful weather stays around 'till my visit next week.
XOXO-Maria
