Well guess what happened to me yesterday................I turned this OLD glitter I found at an estate sale all over..............I rescued some of it but I was so mad and what a big fat mess. Thought you'd like to see how my studio/ room looks like when I have to much on the floor. I put piles of supplies on the floor for my up coming classes .
Spool Class
This is the other "Easter Bonnet Spool" we will be making in class on Thursday April 7.
This is a picture of the spools together. We will be wrapping the one spool with old seed packets and the other with the new Cavallini paper.
If the weather cooperates over the weekend I will have all these new samples up at the Paper Crown so you can decide which class you want to take.
I hope you all out there have had a wonderful snowy cold week like we have had here in Oklahoma. One good thing about being snowed in, you have the time to play in your room and make some art.
Enjoy the weekend...........

I'm not sure this would work, but depending on the size of the glitter, you can take the hose attachment of your vacuum and put pantyhose over it before sucking up the glitter... might help you save some of it in the future if it is a larger type glitter. (I've used it for beads in the past. works great!)

About the glitter, I know how you feel. I have done the same thing with embossing powder. But vintage glitter would be a great loss. Hope you don't end up with it all over your body (happens to me all the time.) Hugs,

Oh my, these girls are sooooo cute. I love them and glad to once again see the vintage seed packets incorporated into a new and fab. project. Love your work and talent!

Oh how tragic... the huge mess and the loss of that pretty old glitter! The spools are so pretty. Wish I could be there for them... but that might be "pushing it" for my travel time! If I could get by with being away from home, I'd take ALL the classes. XOXO- Maria

It's even pretty covered in red glitter. You are one creative cookie. Hope you and Tom have a good weekend!
