What is it about getting your fingers and hands in paint that makes you feel so good? I think the girls last night certainly had to feel good...........we glued down paper, painted, used washi tape, gold leaf pens, gold leaf paint, stamped images with sayings, gold dresden pieces, ribbons, charms, you name it and we added it all to these luggage tags! The girls did an amazing job and went home with 5 beautiful tags! Thanks girls for another fun evening getting paint and whatever all over our hands, fingers, tables and aprons! Beth we missed you but sometimes the NBA takes the place of coming to class( you can pick up your kit at the PC)! We all totally understand and the end result of the game was awesome............Thunder UP!!!!!
Miss Robn had a dog emergency so she had to leave early ..........she didn't have time to finish her tags so I had her to hold the sample......hope your dog is ok!
Look at this group.........you can tell by the look and smiles they were all up to something but what a great group they are! Thanks girls for another fun evening at the PC!!!!! Job well done!

Well another fun group of gals working until they finished their project "Wardrobe Paper Doll"........A small group but fun group! Thanks again girls! ( Patty I hope your allergies are better today!)
And my first cutting of the hydrangeas I shared in my monday post........look at all the colors! I love them.......!
Over the weekend we had the windows open because we are having some fall feeling weather.......anyway I was in my room working and I heard this loud chirping that just kept on and on....so I walked into the kitchen and this yellow bird was looking in my kitchen window.......he or she was back and forth all day long..........it would leave for a while and then come back...I told Tom he probably smelled my dinner in the crock pot........ha......anyway the next day he came back! I don't know what he is doing but he loves my front window!
It's that time of year where everything is in full bloom before the hot summer heat gets to them........about a week ago I looked out my back window and discovered how FULL my hydrangea plants were .........usually I am good to get maybe 10-20 every year........I don't know what has happened but there is over a 100 blooms! It may be all the coffee grounds I poured around them last year. I don't know for sure but I am so excited. I have every color........
Talking about flowers.....last night Angie taught a watercolor class and it was so much fun to take one of her classes. She is so talented and knows her stuff. She first showed us how to use the brush and water with color and t hen continued until we all knew what we were doing ....
I didn't quite finish mine but when I do I will post a photo. .......
I love watercolors and has always been one of my most favorite classes I took in college since Art was what I got my degree in...........I remember spending hours and hours painting and knowing the results always were going to be something light and pretty.....once you paint you can't cover up like you can in oils or acrylic paint and I think that is something that is so freeing about the medium.......Thanks again for bringing back the water, paint and fun Angie. I forgot how much I love to paint with watercolors!
