There you have it........these girls finished their projects and they were so fun to see each individuals special touch they added! Thanks girls for another fun evening at the Paper Crown!
Red Velvet Brownies
1 (4 oz) unsweetened or bittersweet chocolate baking bar
3/4 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 (1oz.) bottle red liquid food coloring
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Line the bottom and sides of a 9inch square pan with aluminum foil, allowing 2 inches to extend over sides and then spray with pam.
Melt the butter and chocolate over med heat until melted. Whisk in sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time and whisking just until blended after each addition. Gently stir in flour and next 4 ingredients and pour into prepared pan.
Bake in a 350 oven for 45-50 minutes or until wooden pick comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Cool completely about 2 hours and then lift brownies from pan using the foil sides as handles. Gently remove the foil and spread on the cream cheese frosting.
1 8oz. package softened cream cheese
1 cube softened butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy and then gradually add the powdered sugar, salt and vanilla and continue to eat until blended!
